Although this one is not a manly topic and men generally do not have much to do in their wedding preparations, you could surprise your bride-to-be with these romantic ideas. She will love the themes suggested here; so have a look and decide on the one which suits you and your would-be-wife the best.

1. Victorian
Many women simply love the Victorian era; take for example their fixation with the recent Prince Williams and Kate Middleton wedding. They love feeling like the British royalty. So you could set up your venue in a Victorian style reminiscent of the 17th and 18th century Europe. The wedding could be conducted in a palace or a castle like structure with a garden. Black floral designs can be used on the invitations and you could dress up in outfits similar to what would be worn during those times.

2. Arabian Nights
A Middle Eastern Moroccan or Arabian Nights theme works best for giving your guests and yourself a taste of exotica. You could conduct the reception after dark, and with pitch tents and gaddas for guests to sit in and light up the place with lanterns. Serve cuisine that the region is best known for and dress up like sheikhs and begums.

3. A cruise wedding
A cruise ship is an interesting and romantic setup for a wedding. You could book a cruise ship for your wedding party for the night or a one-day trip. Celebrating your marriage in the midst of loved ones, in the midst of a sea, spells romance.

4. Vintage
Vintage has been getting a crazy fan following since a year. Take Instagram or Pinterest into account and you would know exactly what Vintage is. The Vintage theme is something that prevailed during the mid 20th century. The decor should be white in color, while pastel colors and muted shades should prevail. Cupcakes, macaroons and pastel shaded flower bouquets need to be there as well. Lacey invitations, white roses and faux pearls decoration are all vintage.

5. Fairy Tale wedding
Women have grown up on a diet of Barbie and fairy tale princesses who walk off into the sunset with their Prince Charming and have royal weddings. Become the Prince Charming of your to-be bride and find out her favorite fairy tale character. Plan according to whoever it is, be it Rapunzel, Cinderella or Snow White, with the help of a wedding planner since we don’t expect you to know much about girly dreams.

6. Beach wedding
A romantic theme, often seen in movies is the beach wedding. They are fun, casual and cheaper as compared to other glitzy affairs. Serve coconut water, welcome guests with leis, set up a volleyball net for guests to play and you are almost ready with your sweet beach side marriage preparations.

7. Twilight themed
Almost every second girl loves the supernatural book and movie series Twilight. If your woman is a die-hard fan too, you could make arrangements for a Twilight themed wedding. You could have red punch resembling blood, an all white decor with slivers of sparkle added here and there. Your wedding outfits could be stitched to resemble those worn by Edward and Bella in the blockbuster movie.

8. Valentine’s Day
You could either get married on the most romantic day of the year or make the chosen date your own Valentine’s Day. Decorate the venue with hearts and roses. Heart shaped balloons, rose filled vases and petals strewn all over; cupid motifs hanging around, and the dress code could be red.

9. Hollywood Oscar night
If you have a higher budget then you could transform your reception into a dazzling ceremony, no lesser than the glamorous Oscar nights of Hollywood. Book a huge hall, preferably one with grand chandeliers, roll out the red carpet, tell your guests to dress up like their favorite movie stars and arrange their order of seating by naming tables.
