When you read rashes, it doesn’t point specifically to a disease. It is a general condition caused as a result of infection at one part of the body or multiple parts.
Some of the most common rashes in men include:
1. Feet Rashes
Feet rashes count amongst the most common male rashes. And around 65 percent of men suffer from these rashes at some point in their lives. Athlete's foot, as it’s called, is a result of fungal infection or to put it in a more encrypted form - trichophyton rubrum fungus is the main cause behind it. If, apart from itching, you see scaling on the soles of your feet, it is an early sign of Athlete’s foot.
The rash caused due to eczema will cause inflammation, scaling and also result in frequent itching. There are swollen patches visible on various parts of your body. There are also blisters on your body that are filled with certain fluids. And if there are spots on your body where the skin is broken, eczema will cause an infection in such areas. The reason for eczema is explained in the form of allergies, which you might have inherited from your family.
3. Contact Dermatitis
It is also a type of infection which causes inflammation at various spots in your body. It is accompanied with redness on the infected area, flaking of the skin and possible blisters growth. This rash is often experienced by people in the initial weeks after buying new shoes and wearing them on a regular basis. Apart from that, your dietary habits can also be the reason behind it. More specifically, the creams that are used in cakes can trigger Contact Dermatitis.
4. Scalp Rashes
You shall find many men complaining of blisters on their scalp. Even too much dandruff is a symptom of rashes on the scalp. The source for the infection is the staphylococcus aureus bacteria that infect the hair follicles. If you see some white flakes on your face, also causing itching, it is a sign of scalp rash and must be attended at the earliest or it might spread to other parts of the body as well.
5. Rashes on Penis
This one is the most niggling of the lot. Rashes on the penis can be accounted to certain STD’s like Chlamydia or herpes. Bacteria, fungus, etc, are responsible for these diseases. Chlamydia, for example, can cause blisters and swelling around the groin area.
There are several over-the-counter medicines available to treat these diseases. However, it is recommended that you consult an expert if the condition persists.
