Are you frustrated because of your girlfriend’s flirtatious behavior? If you are feeling insecure and jealous when she flirts with others, find out how to deal with a girlfriend who flirts excessively.

1. Talk to her about it

One of the first steps to deal with a flirtatious girlfriend is to talk to her about her excessive flirting. She may not even realize how her flirting habits affect you, so speak to her and tell her how you feel. Tell her openly that you like it when she flirts with you but her flirting habits with others make you feel bad. Mention to her how it makes you feel insecure and vulnerable. Be sure to keep calm while you speak to her so that she can look through your genuine request and tone down her flirtatious ways.

2. Be in a grumpy mood when she is excessively flirtatious
When you spot your girlfriend being flirtatious with others, be in a grumpy mood. Let her know that her flirting habits put you in a bad mood. Whether it is at a party or a simple outing to the mall, show your disgust when she becomes flirtatious. After a few times, she will realize her mistake and tone down her behavior.

3. Be flirtatious with other girls
In an attempt to show your girlfriend how you feel when she is flirtatious with others, try to flirt with other girls when she is watching. When she confronts you, simply say that you were trying to make her realize how you feel when she does the same. Allowing her to step in your shoes will instantly make her realize the hurt and pain you must be going through every time she flirts excessively with others.

4. Request a friend to help you out
Sometimes people may not realize their mistake until someone other than their loved one points it out to them. This could be the case with your girlfriend who may be blind to her flirtatious habits. Request a friend to help you and talk to her about it. Make sure that the friend is trustworthy and has a genuine interest in helping you both as a couple. Tell your friend how you feel and ask him or her to convey the same thing to your girlfriend. Your friend can play the mediator and help you diffuse the situation.

5. Be nice to your girlfriend when she does not flirt
Show your appreciation when your girlfriend controls her flirting. Be extra nice to her and treat her like a queen when you see that she is deliberately putting in efforts to control her flirtatious behavior. This way, you will use positive reinforcement and encourage her to stop flirting with others.

6. Give her a final warning
If you think that you have done everything you could to stop your girlfriend from flirting excessively, give her a final warning. Tell her that you have had enough of her flirtatious habits and you want her to stop. Ask her to choose between her flirting habits, and her relationship with you. This ultimatum should give her a rude wake up call and she will realize that she must stop being flirtatious if she wants to continue her relationship with you.
