Summer of Gratitude CONTEST

beach shore sea, thank you word written on sand,Summer of Gratitude CONTEST

We can only be said to be alive in those moments when our hearts are conscious of our treasures. ~Thornton Wilder
I’ve taken up the summer of gratitude challenge for just over two weeks now. One thing that is clear is that gratitude might be the most positive emotion we can emit to change our immediate world and the world at large. The truth is that every act of gratitude, every utterance of gratitude goes out in concentric circles of goodness impacting people you might never even directly meet. Living in the wonder of gratitude even for moments of a time, entrains you into another kind of life, the kind that most of us wish for.
Gratitude is one of the most direct experiences of love we can generate and dispels fear and anxiety because these two polar thought processes cannot occur in the brain simultaneously. Still, even as much as we lean towards gratitude and make a practice of employing it in a conscious and deliberate manner, there is something magical that goes beyond intention when we are deeply grateful. It is almost a cellular change, and our capacity to imagine becomes our capacity to perform. Simply put, gratitude turns us into the best form of ourselves.
I want you to come along on this ride, because if anything has the power to right the energy in the world it would be our collective experience of gratitude. Lets make the universe feel our gratitude.
The contest rules are simple: pay attention to and share your accounts of gratitude in your life, or the life of someone you love, or even just a beautiful anonymous act of gratitude. Tell us your story in the comments section below. Anything that sparked a charge of gratitude in anyone is fair game.
Inspire us all with how gratitude changes your life, and once a week we will choose a winner to receive an amazing basket of love products from Good Clean Love and a variety of top-notch toy manufacturers who are grateful to share the pleasure of living with you. The final weeks of the contest we will let you vote on the best entries of the summer for the grand prize.
So get grateful and remember this inspiring thought by William Faulkner: “Gratitude is a quality similar to electricity: it must be produced and discharged and used up in order to exist at all.”
