How to Be Completely Relaxed ??!!

relaxed_man - How to Be Completely Relaxed

There is no dearth of books and videos that educate you on different techniques to relax.
However, a relaxed approach to relaxing is the best way to calm your body and mind. There are some very basic techniques you can employ to achieve complete relaxation and bust stress and anxiety that has been troubling you for some time.

Shut Yourself off from the World around You

Just close your eyes and start inhaling and exhaling. Let your brain not distract you.Stop thinking and only focus on your breathing. This will help you shut out all your worries and relax your mind.

Lie down on a Soft and Cosy Bed

Lie down on something soft and comfy and relax every muscle in your body starting from your feet. Now, while you are breathing, concentrate on a group of muscles upon each exhalation. It helps to loosen up your muscles and relax your body.

Wear Something Comfy

Wear loose pyjamas and a cotton t-shirt to let your skin feel better (no t-shirt would be an even better idea!).

Turn on the Music

Well, hard metal won’t exactly be a good idea (unless that’s what you prefer). Listen to some ghazal or tranquil music of your choice that soothes your senses. It’s during such moments when that urge to listen to music of the 60s and 70s arises. So, play whatever you feel will relax you. Keep the volume audible enough.

Do some Gardening

Plants and flowers can be your best company when you are looking forward to some peaceful time. Nothing beats nature when it comes to soothing your senses. A walk in the park can have a similar effect.

Play your Favourite Sport

Missing those good old days when you had all the time in the world to indulge in your favourite sports? Life indeed has got busy, but you can always take out an hour to TAKE ON THE FIELD. So gear up and get going

You don’t need to visit a spa or parlour to get a gentle massage. Your wife or your mother can do it for you.

Pick up the Phone and Dial ‘that’ Number

Nothing is more relaxing than a sweet conversation with your girlfriend/crush. A chat over the phone with family members for those who stay away from family would also make them feel a lot better, though keep the money matters out of the conversation.

Meet a Friend

Have you been longing to meet an old friend? Catch up, go out somewhere and spend some quality time together.

Watch a Comedy

Play your favourite comic movie or any television show that can make you laugh. Laughter is indeed the best therapy for anything and everything.

Recall some Good Times

Got a first rank in class? Won a national level competition? Got promoted at office? Well, life is not short of such memories. Just sit back and relive those times.
Stress has become a part of day-to-day life and this is why we need something to soothe our nerves so that we don’t buckle under it. Indulging yourself in these activities refreshes you and helps you improve your mind-body balance.
