4 Reasons You Should Stop Looking for a Girlfriend

4 Reasons You Should Stop Looking for a Girlfriend
A lot of dudes seem to constantly be in an out of relationships. If they’re single, they try to date the first girl who gives them the time of day.

Maybe you’re one of those guys. Maybe you’ve never had a girlfriend but secretly wish any girl would date you. You think that if you can just land that semi-cute girl, it will validate your existence and solve all of your other problems.

I’m sorry, but if that’s you, you are sadly mistaken. Here are four reasons why looking for a girlfriend is setting you up for a life of shit.
1. You’re trying to fill a void.

No woman, no cry

Every guy who feels the need to always have a woman by his side is lacking in some other area that he feel the need to compensate for.

It might be his self-confidence, his lack of success, or issues with mommy and daddy. If you frequently crave the attention of a girlfriend, take a step back and examine why you can’t be happy being single.
2. She probably won’t be right for you.

If you’re looking for the first damsel with a decent hind end to be your sugar mama, I promise that you’re not stopping to consider her personality.

In the long run, getting into a relationship with someone purely on the basis of physical attraction is a recipe for disaster. You may spend months or years trying to reconcile your differences when you just weren’t cut out for each other in the first place.
3. You’re missing out.

Men who are constantly in a relationship or looking for one inevitably have less time for themselves. They sacrifice work opportunities, hobbies, and even friends in the name of having a chick to call their own.

Take your mind off of relationships and start doing things you enjoy. This will only boost your self-esteem and confidence, which will help you to realize you don’t need a partner to be happy.
4. You’ve got your whole life to find her.

If you’re in your late teens or early 20s stressing over finding the love of your life, you need to consider the freedom that you’re wishing away.

You’ve got another decade to travel, focus on your career, live with minimal expense, pay off debts, and have fun. You don’t want to be 22 with a wife and two kids wondering what happened.

So don’t rush. Even if she doesn’t come along till you’re 35, I doubt you’ll regret the time you spent discovering who you are and doing things you love.
The Wrap-Up

There you have it. Don’t spend your time chasing every nice rack or imagining your perfect woman. Overly aggressive dating will only lead to complications.

Take your time and learn to love your single life. She’ll be there when the time is right.
